Your columns are written well and I feel you researched the material you have written about in the past but more than a lot of the time your take is twisted to make YOUR point and therefore not always accurate in the real world, especially about unions which is obvious you have never belonged to one. Excellent job on this column Thomas, however and that's high praise from a 71 YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! An average CEO earns more before lunchtime on the very first day of work in the year than a minimum wage worker earns all year. By the logic in this animation, shouldn't companies move to a country like Germany where CEO pay is much lower? *** Also, minimum wage is not $9.00 - it's $7.25. Since you are so envious of his career, you are welcome to go to college and get the education then spend many years working your way to where you want to be, there are plenty of grants and other assistance programs out there for low income people who actually have a true desire to WORK for a better life, take advantage of it.
